The Inspection Defect Trends Dashboard lets manufacturing and quality engineers efficiently identify Defect Pareto by type, false call rate, defects by unit location and defects by reference designator.
Filters
You use these filters to select which machines and programs you want to view:
-
Site: Select the site you want to view.
-
Area: Select the area you want to view.
-
Line: Select the line you want to view.
-
Machine: Select the machine(s) you want to view
-
Program: Select the program(s) you want to view (or "All" for all programs).
-
Defect Types for Drilldown: Select Defect Type (s) you want to view (or "All" for all Defect Types).
Remember to use the date picker in the top-right corner to choose the time period you want to view.
Aggregated Defects
After setting your filters for the selected site, area, line and machine, you see defect trends aggregated in the following ways:
-
Defect Pareto by type in a table, which shows the total defects by type, starting with the highest defects.
-
Defect Pareto by type in a time series heatmap, which color codes based on the number of defects as shown in the legend.
-
Aggregated Defects by Program and Defect Type in a tabular form.
-
Aggregated Defects by Unit Location in a tabular form.
-
Aggregated Defects by Unit Location and Defect Type in a tabular form.
-
Aggregated Defects by Defect Location in a tabular form.
Note that the defect numbers do not include false calls.
False Calls
After setting your filters for the selected site, area, line and machine, you also see false calls presented in the following ways:
-
Current False Calls rate in percentage
-
Graph showing the time series trend of the False Calls and Boards Passed
-
Graph showing the time series trend of just the False Calls
