How to Switch Between Grafana Organizations

Standard real-time dashboards supported by Arch Systems are in the Grafana Organization "Main Org." There is another Grafana Organization called "[CUSTOMER NAME] Advanced" that is used for technical training and experimental dashboard development by customers. This article explains how to switch between the two Grafana Organizations.

Make sure you have access to the "[CUSTOMER NAME] Advanced" Organization

Only users who need access to the "[CUSTOMERNAME] Advanced" Organization are given access to it. If you are granted access to the "[CUSTOMERNAME] Advanced" Organization, a member of Arch Support will let you know.

Switching from "Main Org" to "[CUSTOMER NAME] Advanced" Organization

1. From the App Launcher, Go to Real-time Dashboards to open Grafana



2. Click on the user icon in the lower left navigation bar to display the context menu:

3. Choose "Switch Organization:"

4. To the right of "[CUSTOMER NAME] Advanced," click "Switch to":

Simply repeat the above steps, but click "Switch to" for "Main Org."

Using "Main Org" and "[CUSTOMER NAME] Advanced" Organizations side by side

Sometimes customers have a Grafana "Main Organization" showing standard metrics and a separate Grafana "Advanced Organization" showing in-development, unsupported, or specialized metrics. If you want to look at Arch supported dashboards in Main Org and "Advanced Organization" dashboards side-by-side, you may choose to log in to Main Org in one browser (such as Chrome) and the "Advanced Organization" in another browser (such as Firefox).
