The Organizational Model in ArchFX: Enterprise, Organization, Site, Area, Line, and Machine

To better understand your Organization Summary you need to know how the data for your company is organized. ArchFX Cloud and the Global KPIs Solution implement the ISA 95 organization model as shown here:

• An Enterprise can have multiple Organizations (such as "Automotive," "Surface Mount Technology," and "Mechanicals").
• An Organization can have multiple Sites.
• A Site can have one or more Areas such as work areas, buildings, floors, or halls. 
• An Area can have Lines or Machines but not both.
• An Area with one or more Machines represents a group of discrete machines.
• A Line contains one or more Machines organized in an assembly line.

ArchFX Cloud securely stores machine data from an enterprise so that it can be searched and analyzed with high performance. The Global KPIs Solution enables you to easily browse up and down the levels of the organization model and see KPIs at each level.
